Hailed as a Swedish design classic, Asplund's storage unit with drawers was first unveiled by Thomas Sandell and Jonas Bohlin in 1994. The concept is purposely simple, with cutout handles providing both a decorative element and the ease of a comfortable grip. Snow A features wide soft-closing drawers in a lacquered MDF cabinet available in a range of tempered Nordic colors, with a contrasting natural birch base. Production takes place in the small town of Tibro in southern Sweden, with its long furniture-making tradition, and Snow is still fundamentally handcrafted and made to order. Elegantly functional alone or in combination with other companion collection pieces; fixing to the wall is recommended.
