The integrated steel frame eliminates the need for a box spring, replacing it with wooden slats that can be adjusted for desired lumbar support. The strikingly angular headboard is purposely tall—to rest the head while sitting up in bed—while the gentle wedge of the lower half offers essential lumbar support.
