A black edging strip delineates the enveloping cushion of Carl Hansen & Søn's dining chair, like its siblings in the Embrace series. Vienna design studio EOOS explores soft power in the folded upholstered form that functions as a seat, back and armrests in one and appears to float inside the solid oak or walnut structure. The back piece of the frame, composed of 3 pieces assembled in classic finger joints, is particularly striking, its simplicity emphasizing the fine craftsmanship.
