Introduced in 1951 at the yearly Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Furniture Exhibition, Danish designer Ole Wanscher's OW124 gets its name from its beak-like armrests. Capping off the organic flow of the sculptural armchair, the refined wood frame illustrates his preference for slender dimensions and gently curving elements. Skillfully crafted in a choice of solid oak or walnut finishes, the chair also offers seat and back upholstery in a wide selection of fine textiles or leather.
