David Trubridge

Veteran New Zealand-based designer David Trubridge bases his geometric Sunflower on patterns observed in nature over time. Rendered in responsibly sourced bamboo plywood, the shade can be mounted over an existing sconce to freshen up any interior or become the basis for a sculptural lighting installation on the wall or even the ceiling. Shipped as an easily assembled kitset with about 1/30th of the volume of the assembled light, it also minimizes the freighting's environmental footprint.
