A black table lamp with a domed wire cage shade over glowing white cylinders on two black columns

Yasuke Table Lamp

Designed by Studio BrichetZiegler for DCW Éditions

The heralded Samurai Yasuke arrived from Africa to Japan as a slave, and he has been celebrated since the mid-16th century. He is also the inspiration for this table lamp by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, hand crafted in France by DCW Éditions. The double-column design is topped by a domed wire shade, the screen effect diffusing a warm glow from an integrated LED light source. Graphic, futuristic and a statement..
