Originally designed in the 1950s, this table lamp is one of the most recognizable works of design icon Greta M. Grossman. Cobra takes its name from the shape of the oval shade, which is reminiscent of the serpent’s neck. A groundbreaking concept, it nabbed the Good Design Award at the time and was subsequently exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Uniquely classic, the tubular flexible arm can be bent in all directions, allowing the shade to be rotated all 360 degrees for maximum utility.
