Debuting in 1961, Italian virtuoso Gianfranco Frattini's table lamp made a splash with its unique nylon fringes inspired by both the world of fashion and the entrance curtains commonly found in Italy’s bars and grocery stores in the late 1950s. Thanks to the array of lateral bulbs, Model 597 emits a 360-degree play of indirect light, softened by the fringes to create a rich ambient glow.
