Upholstered in velvety aniline leather, which is treated exclusively with soluble dyes that permeate the hide while retaining the leather's natural surface grain. (Chair can also be covered in custom leather or fabric as desired.) Founder-designer Emil Thorup's defining standard of meticulous craftsmanship is evident in each made-to-order chair produced by hand in Denmark, from the steel welding to the final exacting upholstery.
