The Yanagi Armchair reflects Japanese craftsmanship with its seamlessly curved armrests, crafted from a single piece of wood using advanced bentwood techniques. This construction preserves the chair’s original shape while ensuring comfort. Skilled artisans shape the seat by hand, creating a smooth, contoured surface. The legs are designed with lathe-turned ends to distribute weight evenly and reduce floor impact. Sori Yanagi, a renowned industrial designer, is known for creating everyday objects with practical appeal.
