Designed by Arde Design Studio for New Works

Danish designer Rene Hougaard of Arde Studio extends his geometrically inclined Covent series for New Works with a handsome bar and counter stool. With the proportions of its linear steel base inspired by the paintings of Mondrian, the upholstered seat in buttery leather or fine fabric adds welcome cushiness to the equation. Balancing elements of hard and soft, Covent pays homage to the strong Scandinavian history of craftsmanship and materiality.
