Riffing on visual elements like curves and volume, designer Simon Legald's lounge chair seems to be built solely from plump cushions resting on slender legs in powder-coated steel. Ark from Normann Copenhagen gets its name from the Danish word for arches, echoing the seat, back and armrest shapes that all appear to be separate pillows. Soft and inviting, the chair construction uses a spring system and a mix of high-density foam, low-density foam and wadding for an assured feeling of comfort.
