SE07 Dining Chair

Designed by Martin Visser for Pastoe

The seat sits on top of the frame, not between the tubes — that is the SE07's specific move within Martin Visser's 1960 series. It raises the upholstered pad above the tubular steel structure, creating a distinct horizontal layer and a slightly higher seating position than its siblings. The round steel tube is slender enough that the chair reads as line drawing at a dining table. Black powder-coated or brushed chrome, both committed framings of the same geometry.
