Portuguese designer Rui Pereira and Kyoto-based Ryosuke Fukusada adapt their Anza upholstered seating as a charming pouf to use as a spare perch or a footrest. Its name translating as “to sit at ease” from the Japanese, the piece references the duo’s respective cultural legacies as part of a 6-year collaboration. Fashioned in matte lacquered or stained black oak, the deeply padded piece features a range of upholstery selections from Danish house Please Wait to be Seated.
