Designer Kai Linke creates a floor lamp series with winsome personality in her Kokeshi trio, suggested by the traditional doll beloved by generations of Japanese children. Strikingly abstracted from the figurative toy, the stylized lamp version from German artisan brand Pulpo has a ceramic torso and a carefully crafted, hand-blown glass topper. Glowing with ambient LED illumination from the shade in in hazy grey or white, the glossy glazed base comes in a choice of white, grey or terracotta.
