There's a case for letting a sconce just be a sconce. The Round shade is Brim at its most relaxed — a plain cylindrical column, unfussy from any angle, happy to take on whatever finish you hand it. It's the shape that disappears most readily into a room, which is often exactly the point. Underneath, the same mechanics as the rest of the collection: swiveling head, focused downward beam, cast aluminum and steel, optional toggle at the base. Specify it solo where you want the finish to carry the fixture, or mix it with Square or Faceted when a project calls for a little variation.
