Peana Molina

Handcrafted in solid walnut, Peana Molina is a diminutive piece of furniture to place near at hand and can be used for almost any purpose conceivable. Jaume Sans, a singular Catalan surrealist painter of the post-war period, first devised this practical pedestal for the family flat in Plaça Molina in Barcelona. Still made by carpenters in the region, this modest but inherently stylish everyday essential serves as a side table, a plant stand, a spot to display a bunch of flowers or a bedside table.
