A matching ottoman blissfully extends the comfort level of Matthew Hilton’s signature armchair for London maker SCP. Launched in 1991 and echoing Balzac’s curvaceous contours, the seating’s companion piece is likewise made at the British company’s homeland upholstery factory. With a frame in solid beech and jute webbing and zigzag springs and a range of upholstery choices underscored with 100% natural and sustainable materials, including latex and coconut fiber, needled lambs wool, needled recycled wool, and recycled foam, the enduring ‘90s design is a model of graceful poise.
