Finland-based designers Wesley Walters & Salla Luhtasela plumb the past with this wood bench inspired by old handrails and industrial machinery. Maissi’s narrower proportions particularly suit placement in a hallway for welcoming guests or as an unusual extra seat in a living space. Crafted in FSC-certified oak, the wood is left in its pale untreated state to emphasize the subtle grain.
