Bellevue AJ11 is an integrated desk lamp, to be installed into the surface of a desk or work table. Design legend Arne Jacobsen first introduced the iconic series in 1929, inspired by the possibilities of mass-produced tubular steel and in line with Bauhaus-era thinking. The lamp features a 45-degree cut shade to shield the eyes from distracting glare as well as an adjustable goose neck to position the illumination exactly where it is needed. Reissued by the designer’s fellow Danes at &Tradition, the nearly century-old Bellevue remains a powerful testament to functional simplicity.
