All eyes were on Little Petra at the 1938 Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition. Nearly a century later, architect Viggo Boesen's iconic lounge chair has morphed into a beautifully crafted 2-seater sofa. Low to the ground on shapely legs crafted in solid oak or walnut, its embracing curves are clad in hand-stitched fabric upholstery—or the primal luxury of natural sheepskin. One of only a handful of Boesen’s designs, Little Petra is a prime example of his organic "funkis" style, a reaction to the stark angularity of the Bauhaus movement.
