With a touch of stylish whimsy, Umage creative head Sřren Ravn Christensen pairs his tiltable-top lamp with a slender table stand modeled on a champagne-glass stem. Shade's grey felt disc lampshade angles over the oversized LED bulb to soften and direct the illumination while also shielding the eye from irksome glare. For desk or bedside convenience, the stand also has an integral USB port for charging a phone or tablet—even when the light is turned off.
