With Morpho, Parisian designer Patrick Norguet turns the very idea of a tree trunk into a refined sculptural furnishing. The bench’s aesthetic is defined by its robust feet, each looking much like a split log, with hand-carving on the inner flat side in an abstract play on woodgrain. Furthering the allusion, the seat is planked and cut in a V-shape at each end—with the bench completely fashioned in sustainably sourced solid maple or walnut with a choice of finishes.
