Description
A unique take on a folding chair, Zdown features a broad backrest and seat in full-grain leather on a gleaming chrome frame. Relaunched by Engelbrechts after some years off the market, Erik Magnussen’s circa-1968 design proves a timeless addition to contract and hospitality spaces as well as the home. Consistent with the designer’s penchant for steel pipe, the simple construction extolls the material’s ability to shape and bend in a zigzag form that ensures the chair never goes out of alignment.
