Multidisciplinary artist-designer Natascha Madeiski’s also exhibits a well-honed sense of irony in her ceramic Flaming Stars table lamp. A lively mashup, she combines a tribute to the flamboyant Italian '80s Memphis design movement with an homage to the Memphis, USA-born King of Rock 'n Roll. Titled for the names of Elvis’s greatest hits—King Creole, Long Tall Sally, Little Mama—each model is a unique foundling of creative synergy, in colorful renditions or a glazed silver edition.
