Santa & Cole × Ferran Freixa Jové
Nagoya Pendant Lamp - Quick Ship
Description
For gently atmospheric illumination, designer Ferran Freixa Jové's 1961 pendant light is made of thin vertical strips of poplar, a white wood that is almost knot-free. Attached to a discreet drum structure of metal rods, the slatted Nagoya projects the light not only downward but also toward the ceiling. With visual echoes of the East, this enduring style was the first winner of the Golden Delta ADI-FAD award for industrial design produced in Spain upon its introduction.
