Crafted from solid walnut and constructed using "Penrose Prototiles," the Ombra Side Table by Zanat is a stunning example of geometric artistry. These prototiles, named after mathematician Sir Roger Penrose, form a unique, non-repeating pattern that mimics the dappled shade of a tree. Designed by Jasna Mujkić, this table not only showcases innovative design but also emphasizes sustainability by utilizing small wood pieces that might otherwise go to waste. The Ombra Side Table's commitment to both aesthetics and environmental responsibility earned it the Interior Innovation Award in 2012.
